The 8th annual Waddell & Reed Kansas City Marathon Health & Fitness Expo will kick-off the marathon weekend Thursday, October 15, 4 pm - 9 pm and Friday, October 16, 10 am - 9 pm at the Crown Center Exhibit Hall with an anticipated crowd of over 20,000.

The Martini Mile benefited WIN for KC, a local non-profit organization that empowers women and girls through advocating and promoting the lifetime value of sports and fitness.

Did you see our black TaTa Sisterhood Canopy! Our Proceeds from that day will benefit Camp WIN, WIN for KC’s flagship youth event that introduces girls, age 6-12, to over 10 different sports and fitness activities throughout the week. Their mission is to empower women and girls through advocating and promoting the lifetime value of sports and fitness while providing opportunities for participation and leadership development.

Special Thanks to Jonette and Kay for staffing the TaTa Sisterhood booth so Debra could be there to encourage and motivate her sisters as they crossed the finish line!

Network of Strength Walk to Empower River West Festival Park Tulsa, OK Mother’s Day, May 10 Starts at 8:00 a.m.
	As an event sponsor, we provided free helium balloons to participants and spectators and had drawings for Free T-Shirts Ta-Ta Sisterhood apparel was on display at the event and Walk to Empower will receive 10% of our proceeds from internet sales through July 1, 2009.

More than 40 businesses targeting health and fitness were on hand to answer questions, offer demonstrations and provide free samples. Thank you to the Breast Cancer Network of Strength for providing us with education materials and helping us "Spread the Word One Sister at a time".
